Jennifer Inacio (PAMM Curator) and the visual artist Rosana Paulino

The55Project, in partnership with Mana Contemporary Chicago, is pleased to announce the next Live featuring the artist Rosana Paulino.

Jennifer Inacio (curator) and Rosana Paulino will discuss the artworks exhibited at the collective show "What I really want to tell you..." presented in Mana Contemporary Chicago. Paulino’s work employs drawings and photos from the 19th Century to analyze racism and stigmas left by slavery, focusing mainly on its effect over the image of the black woman, as well illustrated on her "Brazilian Geometry Arrives at Tropical Paradise" series and her work "Paradisiac Muse," both presented at the exhibition.
